Hello Alps Adventures Terms and Conditions

Please take a few moments to check our Terms and Conditions before you book any course or activity with Hello Alps Adventures. 

Our booking terms and conditions are understandable and straightforward but if you have any queries, please get in touch with us.

All bookings made on www.helloalps.com are made with HelloAlps.com Ltd (registered address: 9 Lingfield Road, Manchester, England, M11 4NX) and the office address is – via Privata Vittorio Veneto 35, Lecco 23900, Italy. 

When you book a course or activity with Hello Alps Adventures then a contract is deemed to exist between you and Hello Alps Adventures.

BOOKING & PAYMENT

  1. Once you have chosen the course/activity that you would like to book, we will email you a booking form. Please complete the form and send it back to Hello Alps Adventures, specifying your preferred payment method. 
  2. We accept payment by cash, card or bank transfer, but unfortunately not cheques. 
  3. The contract between you and Hello Alps Adventures is finalised when the booking form and either 30% of the total cost or the full price of the course/activity is received. 
  4. To finalise the booking, a deposit 30% of the total price of the course/activity (or the full price if the course/activity is within 2 weeks of the start date) must be paid.
  5. The rest of the payment for any course/activity is due 2 weeks prior to the start date. 
  6. In the event that the balance is not paid (unless agreed in writing) Hello Alps Adventures reserves the right to cancel the booking and impose the appropriate cancellation fees, as specified below.

ALTERATION OR CANCELLATION POLICY

  1. Notice of cancellation must be communicated either in writing or via email to Hello Alps Adventures, and will be effective when it is received by Hello Alps Adventures. 
  2. The following cancellation fees apply (percentage of the price of the course or activity):
  • More than 60 days prior the start date : Loss of the deposit (30% of the price)
  • 30 to 59 days prior the start date : 50% of the total price
  • 15 to 29 days prior the start date : 75% of the total price
  • less than 15 days prior the start date : 100% of the total price
  1. If you have a private booking, and would like to change the date (more than 60 days before the start date), there is a 50€ administration fee.
  2. No changes are possible within 4 weeks of the start date of the course or activity, unless agreed otherwise, in writing, with Hello Alps Adventures.
  3. Hello Alps Adventures has the right to cancel any course in case that there are insufficient group numbers. If the course is cancelled, you will be informed 30 days in advance and you will be able to change the date at no cost.
  4. If other dates are not suitable for you, you will get a full refund (less 1.5% fee if payment was made by card).
  5. You are not entitled to any refund, if you decide to cancel or leave earlier from the course or activity 

MEETING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. One-day courses and activities:

The meeting point is at our training center in Introbio, 15min before the course begins. We will give you the exact directions after the confirmation of your booking.

  1. All the rest of the courses the meeting point is in Lecco, unless otherwise specify.

COURSES & ACTIVITIES

  1. Hello Alps Adventures, our mountain guides and instructors have the right to modify the location, route, course, or activity. This would happen if proceeding with the itinerary would place you, any group member and/or guides at undue risk due to unfavourable weather, conditions and/or client ability.
  2. Hello Alps Adventures is not liable for any losses or expenses you may suffer as a result of such events: strikes, industrial action, sickness, government intervention, weather conditions, lift and/or hut closures or other untoward occurrences that might affect a course or activity.
  3. Private bookings will go ahead regardless of the meteorological conditions. The mountain guides will establish the best agenda to make the most of your time. If, upon mutual agreement between yourself and the guide, it is decided to cancel the activity altogether, and the guide has agreed not to be paid, you will receive a refund of the guide’s fee less an administration fee of €50.
  4. Courses will run regardless of the weather conditions. The mountain guides will establish the best agenda to make the most of your time.
  5. If the mountain guide decides you are not suited for the course or activity, the guide will adjust the location with the approval of yourself and your fellow participants. Refunds will not be given.

INSURANCE

You should ensure that you are adequately insured for any activities you plan to do. 

Hello Alps Adventures suggests obtaining a cancellation and curtailment insurance policy in case of sudden travel alterations or injuries.

Hello Alps Adventures strives to make sure that our website and promotional materials are accurate and up-to-date, however we cannot accept any liability for any  inaccuracies. If you have any queries relating to any of the courses or activities, please get in touch with the Alps Adventures office.

COMPLAINTS

If you are unhappy with something, please inform a member of Hello Alps Adventures team or your mountain guide as soon as possible, in order to resolve the issue right away. 

CONTRACT

Any contract made with Hello Alps Adventures shall be governed in all respects by Italian Law.
